Test convectors Timberk: The cold recedes instantly

Since 2004 TIMBERK company has managed not only to occupy the niche in the market of climatic equipment, but also became one of the acknowledged leaders in sales of water heaters, convectors and radiators. For this small period of time, more than 2 000 000 devices have been sold, that proves the optimal correlation of price and quality, the well thought-out functionality of the models and the reliability of TIMBERK appliances.

Timberk TEC.PS1 PGE 1000 IN convector

Convectors are today the most comfortable and reliable heaters, which unreservedly recommend to buy all the experts. They burn no oxygen, are whisper-quiet, safer than oil-fired heaters and operate efficiently and economically.

TIMBERK presented some interesting new products this fall and decided to test two models to demonstrate their features and performance. Both the safe operation of the convectors as well as their functionality were tested. Testing took place at the FBU Test Center “Rostest-New York” in the fall of 2011. Convectors were checked for compliance with GOST R 52161.2.30-2007.

How it was tested?

  • Tested convectors and thermostats operation under -197 V under voltage, 220 V under normal voltage, over – 242 V over voltage.

  • The convector was turned on at full power, for 3 hours the temperature of the surface of the black corner on which it was installed was measured at 30 points.

  • Test of the air flow temperature and convector surface heating at maximum temperatures sections were recorded with a thermal imaging camera . Measurements were taken at 4 points. Tested for 60 minutes at 30 second intervals.

  • Operation in a test chamber with a volume of 8 m³. for 3 hours. Temperature was measured at three points of the chamber: above the convector and at two points in front of the convector at a distance of 1 m.

  • A situation was simulated in which the hot air from the convector was blocked by felt strips. The main thing in this test is fire safety even in such extreme conditions. Temperature excess of felt strips should not be more than 150 OhC the excess is the difference between the initial temperature and the maximum measured temperature .

All characteristics of the equipment, specified by the manufacturer, were confirmed by the test. Convectors meet all safety requirements according to GOST P 52161.2.30-2007. Functional tests have shown that TIMBERK heaters are economical, can easily cope with power surges, which allows them to work smoothly in all conditions.

Check for “abnormal operation”, t.e. Operation at a maximum temperature of heating in the critical fire-hazardous conditions, showed that the convectors meet the requirements of GOST.

The more powerful TIMBERK TEC convector.PF2 LE 1500 IN provides better space heating. Less powerful convector TIMBERK TEC.PS1 RCE 1000 IN for heating small spaces.
