GENERAL IMPRESSION

Before us is a juicer for every day. You wouldn’t want to get this juicer dirty, even if you have to wash it for one cup of juice. But in principle this juicer can be used to make juice for the whole family. The manufacturers indicate that the juicer can juice three kilos of carrots in 2 minutes, but it is recommended to remove the pulp from the container, lid and grid after processing each kilo.

FUNCTIONAL TESTS

1. Test 1 – making carrot juice. The tall juicer had to be cut in half lengthwise .

In one minute the juicer juiced 532 grams of juice. 492 g after straining. Juice purity 92%, spin efficiency 49.2%. Output – 532 g/min. All within GOST limits.

2. Test 2 – making apple juice. Naturally, we cut the apples into 4 pieces, we did not remove the seeds and the core. In one minute and 39 seconds we were able to squeeze the juice out of one kilogram of apples. Our mistake was that we put a few apple slices in the juicer’s “throat” at once. It’s better to feed fruits in small portions with this baby. e. put one sliced piece at a time.

So, from 1 kg of apples we got 555 g of juice. Only 526g left after filtering.

Juice purity – 95%, spinning efficiency – 53%, capacity – 606 g/min. All data are in accordance with GOST standards.

3. Our test score. We didn’t expect such a fast pace from this “tiny”. Great results. This juicer has the squeezing and juicing efficiency of the “big” coffeemakers, and some of them are even ahead of it. And the results are quite even – for both carrots and apples. The main thing is not to forget to put the spout down, otherwise the juice will drip onto the table and not into the glass underneath. Do not put much at once in this juicer, it cannot cope with large amounts: it starts to vibrate and twirl on the table, but the small pieces halves of large carrots, quarters of apples squeezes just fine.

ERGONOMICS

Material. Plastic housing, stainless steel spout. To fix the lid it is necessary to fix two plastic clips. Design

There is no bucket for pulp, all pulp stays in the container under the strainer. After processing a kilo of vegetables/fruits the container must be cleaned. The cake was fine, mostly uniform, but there were small and thin pieces of apples and carrots.

The juice jug is missing. The juice goes straight to the glass. It is better to choose a high glass, but it does not splash out of a cup as well.

Throat width and design – naturally, the throat is narrower than in larger models. Apples need to be cut in 4 pieces, but carrots can be put in one piece.

The pusher is plastic, black, with an indication of the correct position in the neck.

The spout has a metal drip stop and can be lifted up so that the juice does not drip on the table. But most importantly, do not forget to put it down when you start processing the next batch of vegetables. A pity that there is no special indication.

There is a separate on/off button for switching the speed. For the selection of speed has a button. When juice squeezer is turned on it begins to work on the first speed, if you press the button it will increase speed, if you press again it will decrease speed. First speed is recommended only for juicing citrus fruits.

Power cord 2×0,75 mm. You can hide the excess cord – there is a special place under the bottom of the body.

The suction cups are small, they do not cope well with their task of holding the juicer. If you put a large amount of vegetables in the throat, the appliance can “dance” on the table. In general, two suction cups “ran away”, we found them when we started to pack all the devices.

Dimensions – this is one of the most compact devices among the juicers.

What are the key features and advantages of the Tefal ELEA DUO juicer compared to other juicers on the market? How efficient is it in extracting juice from various fruits and vegetables? Are there any specific maintenance requirements or limitations that should be considered?

One key feature of the Tefal ELEA DUO juicer is its dual press technology, which ensures maximum extraction of juice from both fruits and vegetables. This technology allows juicers to get more juice out of their produce, resulting in less waste and a higher juice yield. The juicer also has a wide mouth feed chute, making it easy to add whole fruits and vegetables without having to chop them up first.

In terms of efficiency, the Tefal ELEA DUO juicer is known for its high juice extraction rate, extracting up to 30% more juice compared to other juicers on the market. This means that you get more juice out of your fruits and vegetables, making it a cost-effective option for those who juice regularly.

When it comes to maintenance, the Tefal ELEA DUO juicer is relatively easy to clean, with dishwasher-safe parts for added convenience. However, it is important to regularly clean the juicer to prevent clogging and ensure optimal performance. Additionally, some users have noted that the juicer may struggle with very hard or stringy fruits and vegetables, so it is recommended to chop them up into smaller pieces before juicing.

Overall, the Tefal ELEA DUO juicer offers a range of features and advantages that set it apart from other juicers on the market, including its dual press technology, high juice extraction rate, and easy-to-clean design. However, it is important to keep in mind its limitations when juicing harder fruits and vegetables.
