New York, June 11, 2014. Thrustmaster introduces a next-generation racing simulator with an official license for PlayStation®4 PS4 and PlayStation®3 PS3 – the T300 RS. The novelty is an excellent assistant in mastering the racing skill, from the first introduction to the world of racing to the podium of the most prestigious competitions.
A slew of innovations
Under the Thrustmaster T300 RS casing is a proprietary brushless motor with frictionless power feedback. Together with a new 1080° dual-trend system, it offers super smooth running, quiet feedback with exceptional response and realistic power effects.
Thrustmaster developers have achieved from the motor with impressive characteristics of increased accuracy. For this purpose, it has been provided with support for H.E.A.R.T HallEffect AccuRate Technology®, — non-contact magnetic sensor provides 16-bit resolution and 65,536 values per turn.
The T300 RS also has onboard memory and upgradable firmware, so users always have access to the latest hi-tech. PC support is also available, and a PS4/PS3 switch on the base will allow you to select the appropriate console.
Removable steering wheel, adjustable pedal box and modular product line
The T300 RS includes a removable steering wheel with Thrustmaster Quick Release mounting system: 28cm/11″ diameter steering wheel, roughened metal jumpers. “Signature” PS4 buttons PS, SHARE, OPTIONS provide constant access to new console communication functions.
The weight of the T300 RS, about 1.2 kg, provides absolutely realistic inertia and force feedback. The entire surface of the steering wheel is covered in a reinforced textured rubber material for the best, most precise grip. Two large sequential metal paddle shifters mounted on handlebars, 13cm high . Steering angle can be adjusted from 270° to 1080°, depending on the type of vehicle used.
In addition, the wheel can be replaced with other Thrustmaster removable steering wheels Ferrari F1 Wheel Add-on*, Ferrari GTE Wheel Add-on* and T500 RS* GT Wheel . The pedal unit of the T300 RS is equipped with large travel pedals, which are fully adjustable in height and intermediate distance: each pedal supports 6 different positions. Brake pedal supports progressive resistance.
The T300 RS steering system is compatible with the Base Fixed Paddle Shifters kit* fixed switches that can be attached to the steering wheel base , Thrustmaster 3-pedal boxes T3PA* and T500 RS* and TH8A* and TH8RS* gearboxes.
