Multi Air Flow cooling system as well as ionisation and door cooling ensure fast and even cooling of the refrigerated compartment. A special zero temperature zone helps to keep meat products fresher for longer. And the fast freezing function, cooling berries, vegetables, mushrooms and other foods quickly and evenly to preserve their maximum flavor and nutritional qualities. LG’s advanced LED technology used for interior lighting of the refrigerator provides good illumination even on the low shelves, less power consumption and less heat emission as compared to conventional incandescent bulbs.

LG Total No Frost and cooling system

Thanks to the LG Total No Frost technology the LG 802-series refrigerator does not require defrosting and moreover ensures the absence of condensation inside the refrigerating chamber. Special Multi-Air Flow cooling system distributes cool air evenly throughout the interior, maintaining a set temperature with minimal deviation between the upper and lower shelves. Door cooling is another technology that ensures rapid and uniform cooling of foodstuffs irrespective of the part of the fridge compartment where they are stored. Cold air flows from the side of the refrigerator toward the door baskets. The air passes through a special ionizing filter with green tea leaf extract, enriched with ions and contributes to the preservation of long-term natural freshness of food in the refrigerator, preventing the formation of mold and unpleasant odors.

To keep vegetables, meat and fish fresh and healthy, LG Total No Frost fridges also have the Fresh 0 Zone, which keeps these products at a temperature around 0º C. This compartment allows for longer storage of foods without the need to freeze them.

In the fast freezing mode ice crystals are formed faster, more evenly and finer, without damaging the tissues of food, thus preserving their appearance, taste and nutritional properties to the maximum extent possible.

Hygiene Fresh antibacterial filter

Hygiene Fresh filter provides antibacterial air filtration in your fridge-freezer in four stages thanks to 3 filters and a deodorizer. The filter eliminates up to 99.9% of all known bacteria and unpleasant odours. The filter may operate in the automatic mode or in the enhanced mode the filter operation control is exercised through the refrigerator display .

Design and ergonomics

LG models of 802-series are presented on American market in two colors – silver and steel.

Ice cube tray with swivel mechanism allows for easy, one-touch handle extraction of ice cubes.
