Sony has released a new Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 VA DSC-RX100M5A compact camera model, which is an updated version of the existing RX-100V. Both cameras are absolutely identical in both appearance and basic features, except that the RX100 VA gets some software enhancements and an image processor from the new RX100 VI.
Notable improvements in the VA version of the camera include a larger buffer that lets you store up to 233 images, and the latest Sony menu with improved section navigation and a “My Menu” tab where you can group frequently adjusted settings. In addition, tracking autofocus and eye-focus mode have been improved, and the refresh rate of the electronic viewfinder has been increased.
