This player’s user-friendly menu offers a variety of modes that let you listen to music in all its glory. Optimized audio path and cadence control are just some of the features that make listening. Inside the WM1Z, a four-wire braided cable developed together with KIMBER KABEL® runs from the amplifier to the headphone jack. It guarantees an expressive and refined sound quality.
These top-of-the-line models also feature the highly desirable Bluetooth® wireless technology and LDAC™ codec for playback of audio files from a variety of sources. New FT CAP high polymer capacitor built in amplifier power supply. Striking transparency of vocals and instruments highlighted by crisp and powerful bass lines.
Those who prefer the sleek aluminum finish of the housing will love the NW-WM1A, with its low base impedance for crisp, powerful bass. Sound power is achieved through a special oxygen-free copper cable used from the amplifier to the headphone jack.
Baffles inside are made by milling die-cast blanks. This method provides maximum rigidity to eliminate unwanted vibrations
To keep the original sound feeling, the ZH1ES is equipped with the new DSEE HX processor and DSD Remastering Engine, which converts raw PCM files into 11.2 MHz DSD format.
Compatibility is the pride of the ZH1ES, and while this product mates best with the new Z1R and WM1Z/WM1A headphones, it is also compatible with other models. With multiple inputs and balanced outputs, as well as unbalanced connections, you can enjoy great sound with any headphones without compromising on quality.
Price and availability
The MDR-Z1R headphones and Walkman® players from the “Signature Series” will be available in America in November 2016. The TA-ZH1ES will be available later. The cost of the new products will be announced later.
