Increased brightness and reliability in use.

VPL-FHZ120L and VPL-FHZ90L feature new and improved LCD panels, and VPL-FHZ120L also has an optical brightness compensator for high contrast, consistent brightness and high image quality with accurate color reproduction. It uses a 3LCD optical system to display the full light spectrum and pure RGB color gamut, with a unique Sony Z-Phosphor blue laser as the light source.

The VPL-FHZ120L is ideal for classrooms and conference rooms for high-level presentations and events. The projector also supports 100% sRGB, making it the perfect display device for museums and exhibitions where it is important to achieve the most accurate color reproduction possible.

The VPL-FHZ90L is perfect for medium-sized classrooms and auditoriums or meeting rooms that previously had problems installing projectors due to natural lighting. The device will help you to produce high quality images even in a very bright room. This is especially important for the educational process, where it is necessary to maintain the involvement of listeners during lectures as much as possible.

Robert Meakin, Product Manager for Projection Products at Sony Professional Solutions Europe: “We have seen an increasing demand for high brightness, large image projection as the advantages of the laser have become well known and appreciated in the market. Sony has always been the world expert in laser-phosphor light source technology, so these new models will allow us to maintain our leading position in this segment.

The models also feature a wide range of additional functions, including significant lens shifts max. Vertical: ± 107%, Horizontal: ± 60% and memory storage of lens settings 6 positions make the projectors much easier to set up and operate. In addition, the models support HTML content, allowing you to display personal content such as school or company logos, news and advertisements over a local network or USB flash, when not using the projector for presentations.

Powerful laser, compact body

Three new WUXGA medium-range models – VPL-FHZ66 6100 lumens , VPL-FHZ61 5100 lumens and VPL-FHZ58 4200 lumens – are specially designed for small to medium-sized rooms.

As stated earlier, Sony has seen an increasing demand for laser light source projectors with a compact body, which are suitable for all customers’ audiovisual needs, and are also suitable for even small spaces. New models perfectly cope with these requirements. Users also get all the benefits of laser technology, including no lamp replacement, quick start-up and long life without loss of brightness.

“After the success of the predecessor models FHZ57, FHZ60 and FHZ65 , it was clear that our customers wanted to optimize their equipment for their content and needed a solution that would eliminate disruption and long setup times as much as possible,” explained Robert Meakin. – The new models offer our users improved brightness and an additional auto color calibration feature, so they can continue to enjoy the practicality of our products.”.

These new laser projectors by Sony sound impressive with their high lumens output. However, I’m curious to know what specific features or advancements these models offer compared to previous projectors? Are they designed for large-scale events or smaller venues? Additionally, could you provide information on their compatibility with different types of screens or projection surfaces?
