Cinematic surround sound and high definition speech
The HT-G700 is 3.A 1-channel soundbar with Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X technology that combines powerful surround sound and high-definition speech, so you can fully immerse yourself in watching your favorite TV shows and movies.
Enjoy omni-directional sound with 7.2.1-channel surround sound. The new HT-G700 soundbar uses Sony’s Vertical Surround Engine technology: with three frontal speakers in the HT-G700 and a Sony signal processor, it can accurately simulate the location of sound sources around the listener in both vertical and horizontal planes. The signal processor has also been redesigned to surround sound and expand the sound stage1. When you select Immersive AE Audio Enhancement mode, the HT-G700 soundbar can enhance even a normal stereo signal to 7.1.2, that is, add surround sound to any TV show or movie.
The HT-G700 soundbar also features a dedicated center speaker that delivers the utmost in speech clarity, whether it’s a fast-paced, emotional polemic in a talk show or a whisper in a Hollywood movie. But it also adds a fuller, richer sound palette for music playback. The HT-G700 also features S-Force PRO technology, which adapts the sound level to match larger TVs over 55 inches , helping you to fully immerse yourself in your favorite show.
Find the perfect setting
You can select the most suitable sound character or audio mode directly with a button on the remote. So you can fully immerse yourself in watching a film with Cinema Mode, or hear every nuance of your favourite song with Music Mode. Also supports Voice and Night modes. Voice mode changes the soundbar settings for the best possible speech quality so you won’t miss a word, and Night mode optimizes the sound so you can clearly catch all the details even at low volume.
The HT-G700 has a powerful wireless subwoofer that delivers deep and rich bass. In addition, bass is made even more powerful and rich by the increased internal volume of the subwoofer2. Finally, the soundbar connects quickly and conveniently to your TV via Bluetooth® or via HDMI eARC/ARC.
