Sony expands its range of E lenses. New slim 20mm pancake lens and video-friendly 18-200mm Power Zoom motorized lens for E-bayonet α cameras and camcorders. The choices for photographers and videographers are enhanced by two new models in the Sony α family of removable lenses for E mount still cameras and semi-professional camcorders.
Slim 20mm F2.8 wide-angle f2.8 lens with E mount
The ultra-thin Sony SEL 20F28 pancake lens with a short focal length of about 20mm from front to back is an ultra-slim, but high-quality and dependable compact solution for α-cameras with E mount.
With its 35mm-equivalent focal length of 30mm, wide angle of view and F2.8 aperture ratio, the lens is perfect for a wide range of day-to-day shooting – from interiors to landscapes, street photography and snapshots. Superior contrast and resolution are complemented by increased sharpness in the corners to satisfy the most demanding photographers.
Sony SELP18200 Electromechanical Power Zoom 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 OSS Telephoto Lens with E Mount. A high quality telephoto lens with an impressive 11x zoom range, perfect for Full HD camcorders with removable E lens. Power Zoom 18-200 mm F3.5-6.3 OSS Power Zoom lens with E mount already included with the NEX-VG30EH.
A conveniently placed zoom lever is complemented by a switch on the lens body, allowing you to choose from six different zoom speeds – from slow, beautiful transitions in perspective to bright, dynamic zoom effects. The motorized zoom function is exceptionally smooth, silent focusing and aperture adjustment thanks to the latest inline motor. The zoom can also be controlled directly from the NEX-VG900, NEX-VG30 and NEX-FS700*.
A built-in optical stabilization system, Steady Shot, eliminates camera shake and enables hand-held shooting at low shutter speeds without blurring the image. Active Mode gives you even better stabilization in the wide-angle part of the 11x zoom range – even on foot. This makes it the perfect choice for creating smooth, stable video footage.
From sweeping landscapes to dramatic close-ups of wildlife and sporting events, the E-bayonet E-lenses on Sony α cameras are as versatile as they are video-optimised.
* NEX-FS700 requires a firmware update.

All with premium Sony and Carl Zeiss optics. All E-bayonet lenses are stylishly designed to match any E-bayonet α camera, for improved performance and ergonomics.
