Smart Home Looking for a Landlord. Panasonic option

At the international IFA 2014 exhibition in Berlin, Japanese company Panasonic presented its unique development that could exist only in fairy tales and futuristic stories until recently ā€“ an interactive mirror.

Panasonic

Interactive mirror knows all about you

Outwardly a novelty does not differ almost anything from an ordinary large mirror, but can carry out several important functions at once: it assesses the condition of the skin, gives recommendations on nutrition and self-care, serves as a stylist and beautician.

While you look in the mirror, it scans and analyzes your image, noting possible imperfections and flaws, including.ch.: wrinkles, redness, rashes, etc. On the basis of the received data a radar chart is made, which is displayed in the left side of the mirror. On the right, the system gives you a set of recommendations on nutrition, beauty products and appliances that you should use to improve your skin.

Another interesting function of the interactive mirror is a virtual selection of decorative cosmetics. It will be especially useful for those who donā€™t have much experience applying mascara, shadows, blush and other., As well as for those who are wary of radical experiments with their appearance. With the help of a mirror, you can easily see yourself in a certain way. The system is loaded with several ā€œpresetsā€ sets of effects for daytime, evening and creative makeup. You can virtually ā€œpaintā€ your eyes, eyebrows, lips, correct the eyebrowsā€™ shape and ā€œgrowā€ your eyelashes. In addition, the system helps you imagine how your makeup will look in certain lighting ā€“ for example, outdoors, in a restaurant, in the office, in the mall, etc.d.

For now the interactive mirror is only a concept, but in the future it can find wide application both in professional beauty salons and at home of every woman.

Induction stove cooks by itself

Another futuristic Panasonic development, presented at IFA 2014, is a free-standing induction hob. Its key difference is that the user can put any shape of cookware in any area of the stove and it will automatically detect its size and start heating the exact working area where the pot or pan is placed. The user can set the temperature and heating time. The fun part starts when you use the pan with the original Panasonic spoon. Using a system of internal magnets, the plate rotates the spoon in the pot by itself ā€“ without any external influence. This prevents food from sticking and gives it a homogeneous consistency. You can set the spoon speed and t.d.

A number of special high-tech modules have been developed for the induction panel. For example, the grill module a rectangular frame with an upper heating element and a meat rack is simply placed on the switched on stove. No wires or plugs ā€“ the grill rack turns on and draws power directly from the cooktop. Here is such a concept of the kitchen of the future from Panasonic.

Iā€™m interested in the concept of a smart home and came across Panasonic as an option. However, Iā€™m wondering if there are any specific requirements or considerations for landlords in order to install their smart home system? Do they need additional permits, expertise, or any other particular resources? It would be great to know more about the feasibility and process involved in implementing a Panasonic smart home as a landlord.
