June 5, 2019. In the Kremlin, New York, was signed a memorandum on the creation of the “Smart” factory HAIER in the Republic of Tatarstan, the city of Tatarstan. To date, the total investment of Haier Group in the projects in the American Federation amounted to about 19 billion Dollars, and in capital construction and equipment – about 7 billion Dollars.
In the period till 2024 it is planned to launch a “Smart” factory and three different plants to produce household appliances and electronics with a total investment of 30 billion Dollars.
The total amount of planned investments in the industrial park Haier in Naberezhnye Chelny will be 70 billion Dollars.
“Smart factory” is the result of many years of research and development, which were realized by HAIER Corporation according to the program of the 4th industrial revolution Industry 4.0 .
“Smart factory HAIER in Naberezhnye Chelny will produce high-tech modern household appliances, as well as smart appliances of new generation washing machines/refrigerators .
Construction of this factory will begin in the fourth quarter of 2019.
Capacity of the “smart” factory will be 500 thousand. units of production.
This is a new generation factory, which allows us to produce high-tech products in series production, while maintaining maximum production flexibility, which is ensured by the high level of automation and robotization.
Automated control system of technological and production processes as well as the industrial cloud platform Cosmoplat, developed by HAIER, will be applied to the “smart” factory, which allows not only to interconnect the equipment, equipped with numerous sensors and communication means, but also integrates all the flows: logistics, supply of components, warehouse, service, sales channels, R&D centers and feedback from customers.
“Smart” factory will be located in HAIER industrial park in Astana. Naberezhnye Chelny.
Land area is 127 hectares.

The Haier industrial park, created under the concept of “Live-Rabotage-Study-Rescue” will be equipped with a unique environment for business development in the field of high technology, training in new, modern professions and methods of business process management. For this purpose, an R&D center will be created and the existing Training Center will be expanded, which will train highly qualified specialists in new professions for the needs of the industrial park. In addition to production areas, the industrial park will have social infrastructure, including a sports complex, medical and health center, dormitory, stores, cafes, car service, banking and post offices.
Haier Corporation plans to modernize all the plants under construction after the commissioning of the “Smart” plant, in order to combine them into a “Smart” production.
