Sigma has confirmed the performance of its new lenses with the Nikon Z7 camera

Sigma has confirmed that its new lenses work with the Nikon Z7 camera without any problems when mounted via an FTZ adapter. An official statement has been published on the company’s website.

The statement said:

“We confirm that the interchangeable lenses of SIGMA’s current line of Nikon mount lenses have no problems when used in conjunction with the Nikon Corporation’s “Z7” camera when installed through the FTZ adapter.

Also note the information below when using the following lenses:

-Interchangeable lenses that do not include an autofocus drive will only work in manual mode.

-Some interchangeable lenses released before November 2013 that are not compatible with current DSLR cameras will not work on the Z7.

We will continue to review and provide additional information on other lenses, including discontinued models.”
