SEA, SUN, MIKMA

All travels are permeated by the smell of coffee, which in every city has a lot of delicate nuances… In Paris, coffee is light, like a first kiss, romantic, like a walk in Montmartre. In Rome, it is as strong and passionate as the history of our era itself. Turkish coffee is oriental, fragrant and with a subtle bitterness. Prague..

In general, everyone creates their own geography of coffee flavor and their favorite routes. There may be many trips, but there is always a MIKMA magnet in the suitcase. It’s become my mascot. If I have MIKMA with me, it means great weather, informative tours, interesting company and an unforgettable experience.

COFFEE AS A PREMONITION

At home the MIKMA coffee grinder reminds you of a vacation. I have two. One is just for coffee, the other is a universal grinder.

And it’s not a luxury – it’s a necessity. After all coffee beans are capricious and do not tolerate any neighbors. Only coffee, and preferably a new batch every morning. But in such a crazy rhythm it’s impossible to grind coffee every day, especially since the grinder can hold up to 50 grams of beans. Lasts for days. The main thing is to store the prepared powder in a hermetically sealed container. Specialists advise to put it in the freezer in order to “preserve” all its useful properties. On Fridays I always grind a batch of beans and take them with me to my country cottage, so that I can enjoy the taste of real coffee there as well. I think about buying another MIKMA especially for country houses. All the more reasonably priced.

ADDING SPICE TO YOUR LIFE

The second grinder also does not stand idle. I don’t trust manufacturers of ready-made spices and spices. I grow chili peppers on the windowsill – a very unpretentious plant, survives both with poor care, and without watering. Peppers dried and ground in a grinder – sharp and unadulterated.

Dried red peppers in the grinder easily turn into paprika. For Hungarian goulash, it’s perfect.

I also grind my country herbs in a coffee grinder, since when pounded, they take up little space and add flavor to soups and meat dishes.

My mom even grinds eggshells in a coffee grinder, which she then uses for fertilizing the soil in her garden.

My daughter uses a coffee grinder to make masks. Natural ingredients and full control of products and the process – everything for a perfect result.

Every morning I daydream about spicy summer days, mild sea breeze, carefree and happy memories while breathing in the aroma of freshly ground coffee beans.
