Saving water with aerators TM ARGO

April 22nd – International Mother Earth Day. The Earth and its ecosystems sustain humanity. More and more people around the world are trying to use water wisely, saving as much as they can. And these trends are actively reflected in today’s technology. After all, we can save a lot of water just by adding small changes to the sanitary appliances we use every day.

Plumbing

One such device was the aerator, a small device for the faucet, which mixes the water with air, making it soft and even, while allowing a significant reduction in water consumption. Passing through the aeration chamber, the water stream is oxygenated and consists of 50% water and 50% air, which contributes to better cleaning of surfaces hands and dishes . In addition, the aerator to some extent also contributes to the weatherization of chlorine constituents from the water, increasing its quality.

And thanks to the fact that mixing with air in the aerator is constant, the pressure in the mixer seems to remain unchanged, despite the fact that the water flow can be significantly reduced up to 3 times .

This appliance is available separately or already built into the faucet. There are really economical aerators up to 8 liters/minute , which are not recommended for bathroom faucets long water intake in the bathroom . And medium water saving 12-24 liters/minute , more often used in the kitchen.

All faucets of TM ARGO are equipped with aerators with plastic cells and anti-calcium coating, which prevents deposition of calcium on them. The design also includes a flow reducer that limits the flow at high pressure in the water supply. Thus thanks to a special design it is possible to save up to twice as much water: from 24 to 12 liters per minute at 0.3 MPa. The flow remains full, smooth and gentle.

Premium ARGO series is equipped with modern 6-step aerators by German company Neoperl Perlator Honeycomb SSR, which besides the visible water saving of 8 liters per minute, allow changing the angle of flow for comfortable use.

In addition, the statement that a person can get rich by having plumbing problems solved in their home is especially true these days. Water flowing idly from faucets “washes” money from the house.

And saving water, taking into account the rising tariffs for water, is also a significant savings in your budget.

Be thrifty!
