Samyang announces the upcoming release this fall of the Samyang 12mm 1:2 full-frame fisheye lens.8 ED AS NCS. The lens will be officially presented at Photokina in Cologne on September 16, 2014.
Samyang 12mm 1:2.8 ED AS NCS Fish-eye 8 ED is a bright, ultra-wide angle Fish-eye lens designed specifically for full frame cameras. The lens provides an image area of 24 x 36 mm and a diagonal field of view of 180 degrees. In terms of optics, this is one of the most advanced fisheye lenses.
Technologically complex optical product consists of 12 optical elements in 8 groups. These include three low dispersion ED lenses and two aspherical lenses that guarantee perfect image depth and minimize chromatic aberrations.
Among Samyang products, 12mm 1:2.8 ED AS NCS Fish-eye is the third lens along with the 10mm f/2.8 and 12 mm f/2.0 with a very effective NCS nanocrystalline anti-reflective coating applied in combination with standard UMC. This design as well as the fast aperture ratio f/2.8 , the lens can be used as an ideal tool in different types of light.
