Samsung Electronics is launching an innovative service for a range of Samsung Smart TVs ā an application for the remote notification of movement in the room Samsung Safe Home. The application was developed at the Samsung Electronics Media Solution Center America and CIS and will be available to users of Samsung Smart TV models of 2014 release from September.
Samsung Safe Home uses a built-in or external camera to detect movement in the room in the absence of the owner. After activating the application, if there is a moving object in front of the TV camera, Samsung Safe Home takes one or more consecutive photos and sends them to a pre-specified e-mail or Facebook as its āstatusā in the userās timeline, visible only to himself.
