Samsung Electronics has introduced a new model in its famous NX-series – the NX2000 camera. Stylish and slim, this compact camera has the performance of a professional camera, thanks to the power of Samsung’s revolutionary SMART technology.

Powerful 20.3-megapixel ASP-C CMOS sensor, which is equipped with the NX2000 – an in-house development by Samsung, which takes the quality and detail of the images to a new level. Even in low-light conditions, images will be rich and clear. The NX2000 is further enhanced by another unique Samsung development, the powerful 4-core DRIMe IV processor, which reduces noise in captured images and provides superior color reproduction.
Continuous shooting at 8 frames per second, so NX2000 owners won’t miss a single precious moment. On-the-go photography has never been so convenient: a maximum shutter speed of 1/4000th of a second will produce sharp images with no blurred portions, while a wide ISO range 100 to 25600 helps you get a light-balanced shot regardless of lighting conditions. The NX2000 works quickly and clearly without missing a single detail.
Picture control
Ease of use is a key feature of the new NX2000: the large 3.7-inch WVGA touch screen provides convenient and intuitive navigation to access a variety of functions. SMART mode gives you even more options, helping you choose the best moment to shoot and offering 14 different scene modes, as well as a range of settings to suit all shooting conditions.
Users can take photos of fast-moving objects, such as a running child thanks to Action Freeze, or capture a good facial expression by activating the Best Face option, which takes five consecutive photos and allows you to choose the best. Simply choose the mode that suits your purpose and enjoy stunning results.
Choose from a range of accessories for professional and amateur photographers alike to take complete control of your photography with 12 interchangeable lenses. Removable lenses range from ultra-compact pancake lenses and general-purpose zooms to fast portrait and macro lenses. Samsung’s innovative I-Function system lets you control camera settings such as aperture speed or shutter speed through the lens.
3D video and image capture capability with optional Samsung 45mm 2D/3D lens brings a new element of realism. Full HD video recording maintains the same level of detail, color and quality as still photography, so users can view the resulting 3D sketches exactly as they were captured.
Connecting to the world wirelessly
Wi-Fi connectivity, one of the NX2000’s major advantages, has been greatly enhanced by Samsung’s second-generation SMART CAMERA technology. These smart features make it easy to share data and manage image storage directly from the camera. Samsung SMART CAMERA app, available on iOS and Android, provides a versatile way to share photos on the fly.
AutoShare lets you send content from the NX2000 to your smartphone or tablet over a dedicated Wi-Fi connection, even when you are not connected to an access point.
Integrated Near Field Communication NFC technology is the easiest way to connect the NX2000 with Android smartphones and tablets supporting this protocol. In addition, users can sync their favorite social networking sites, such as Facebook, with a dedicated Direct Link hot button that will provide instant one-touch photo sharing.
Samsung has always been faithful to the highest standards of imaging, so the new NX2000 comes with software that includes Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4, which greatly enhances the capabilities of professional photographers.
