Samsung introduces the world’s first curved soundbar for curved TVs

New York, September 11, 2014- Samsung Electronics unveiled an innovative line of audio devices at the 2014 IFA. The main novelty is the world’s first speaker system for curved Samsung TVs – curved soundbar HW-H7500/H7501. Samsung also showed off its new wireless audio system, the Samsung M3, an innovative extension of the Samsung Wireless Audio Multiroom line.

The innovative curved soundbar is the perfect complement to Samsung’s high-end curved TVs. The HW-H7500/H7501 can be easily mounted in the base of a TV or on the wall – completing the stylish look of Samsung’s curved-screen TVs in perfect harmony. Perfect for wall mounting-no need to drill a separate hole in the wall.

The curved soundbar has the same bending radius as Samsung’s 55- and 65-inch curved TVs – 4.2 meters, and it’s only 42 mm high. The sleek speaker system surrounds the listener with soft and deep sound, filling the entire space around – together with a Samsung TV with a curved screen, the new soundbar gives the viewer a delightful home viewing experience. The model is also distinguished by its design – thanks to the aluminum finish of the body, the device looks stylish and premium, and its elegant lines perfectly complement the aesthetics of Samsung curved TVs.

With additional speakers on the edges of the device, the 8.The 1-channel curved soundbar creates incredibly spacious surround sound – directing sound in three directions instead of just one. The Samsung proprietary technology faithfully reproduces the full range of frequencies – from bass to treble – to deliver the highest level of detail and minimize sound distortion. In addition, the device has an advanced user interface – the user can control the sound system via TV, as well as through a wireless service “TV SoundConnect.”

M3 Wireless Audio Multiroom Series

In addition, Samsung has also expanded its Wireless Audio Multiroom Series with the new Samsung M3. Samsung M3 is even more compact than the previously released M5 and M7 models, as well as more affordable.

Samsung M3 provides seamless audio content playback directly from your smartphone or computer and allows you to play music from multiple devices. Samsung M3 can also be controlled remotely using a mobile device. The sound system is very easy to install – you just press the power button, download a special free installation app and enjoy the music.

In order to provide consumers with an unparalleled device experience, Samsung is expanding its partnership with the largest music provider Spotify – through this partnership, Samsung M3 owners have access to millions of songs from the Spotify catalog, as well as the ability to listen to their playlist while away from home. Users can also play music from two or more Samsung Wireless Audio Multiroom devices simultaneously – a first for the Spotify Connect service.
