Samsung Electronics presents the Samsung ES8000 series smart TV in the American market. This is the company’s flagship model, based on a new design concept and all of the company’s top-notch engineering. Samsung designers have created a completely new look TV. It’s completely different from other models, but keeps the tradition of the Samsung design school. The perfect shape of a big 55-inch television.
The ES8000 feels light when you look at it. An ultra-slim bezel and new arched TV stand help achieve this. The picture frame is so thin, the boundary between the screen and the world is practically invisible and the body is a little over three centimeters thick.

New TVs made with all the features of Smart TV. This model offers a completely new way of interaction between the user and the TV. New Smart Interaction technology lets you control your TV without pressing a button on the remote control.
With the help of voice commands and gestures, the user can turn on/off the TV, change channels, open and close applications, and surf the Internet. A built-in camera with face recognition lets you remember you as a user and lets you open your favorite apps in Smart Hub without a username and password.
Samsung offers access to an impressive content base of more than 400 apps, with more than 40 apps provided by local developers. Only in January this year, users in the CIS countries have used Samsung Apps 3.5 million times.
Starting in 2013, a special Samsung Evolution Kit allows owners to update the services on their TVs with maximum ease and convenience. A simple connection to the connector on the back of the TV allows to upgrade not only the software, but also the hardware.
So the user gets the new Samsung technology without having to buy a new TV. Samsung is the only manufacturer that offers such a solution in the TV market.
The ES8000 has peerless image quality in both 2D and 3D thanks to Micro Dimming Ultimate local dimming technology. It divides the screen into hundreds of areas to optimize the backlighting and video signal for each individual area in real time, by increasing the white intensity in areas with few tones.
This results in a 20% increase in overall brightness and allows you to enjoy richer colors and increased contrast. Also eliminates halo effect and light scattering distortions in the image.
Wide Colour Enhancer Plus technology transmits images with maximum natural colourfulness and vividness, Digital Noise Filter makes the picture clear and smooth, and 3D Converter coupled with dual core processor can transform an ordinary picture into a three dimensional one in real time.
