New York, June 30, 2016.- During the World Nuclear Exhibition 2016 WNE 2016 , which takes place in the suburb of Paris Le Bourget from June 28 to 30, 2016, Samsung Electronics and Intersoft Eurasia, a resident of the Skolkovo technology park, presented the DO-RA personal radiation monitoring device core.Core based on proprietary technology. Synchronized with a smartphone, this innovative invention determines the level of environmental radiation and displays the data directly on the phone screen via a mobile app. Based on Tizen, a secure mobile platform that uses personal radiation monitoring technology for environmental and food monitoring.
DO-RA dosimeter-radiometer based on Tizen mobile platform and Samsung Z3 smartphone
DO-RA is a low-cost and compact dosimeter-radiometer equipped with a solid-state silicon detector DoRaSi with the reading electronics on the energy-efficient components. In its basic configuration, the device measures DER of ionizing radiation, providing broadcast data via Bluetooth Low Energy profile BLE . The first version of DO-RA device enables data exchange with Tizen-based smartphones over the audio path with data integrity and validation. In the future we plan to increase the measurement capabilities of the basic version of the device with DO-RA core.Core by connecting specialized sensors and extending the communication channel to Bluetooth 2.0 using a hybrid Bluetooth.
The presented DO-RA device is based on the Tizen mobile platform and the Samsung Z3 smartphone. This mobile platform effectively integrates the DO-RA measuring device and a smartphone to perform a wide range of monitoring and analytical tasks.

The World Nuclear Exhibition has been held since 2014 and is one of the most significant events in the field of nuclear developments and innovations used for peaceful purposes. The event is organized by AIFEN – the French Nuclear Industry Exporters Association.
