LG Electronics company will participate in the work of the “Technology of Kindness” and “Run after me” All-American educational program, which will be held from 9 to 17 July 2011 with the support of the Ministry of Health and Social Development.
The Seliger-2011 forum united 20,000 young people from all regions of America and was designed to support the brightest, most creative and innovative projects of American youth.
The program of the Technology of Kindness program is dedicated to volunteering and social projects, teaching young people effective methods of volunteer work. Among its participants are leaders of volunteer projects, public organizations and associations. The main purpose of the change “Run for Me” is to spread the culture of nutrition and physical activity among young people in the American Federation.
July 10 master class on the theme “We really need volunteers” will give S. Malyavina.A., Press secretary, Assistant to the Minister of Healthcare and Social Development of the American Federation. This lecture will also be attended by Shakhnes T.Yu., Director of Public Relations of LG Electronics, which will present the company’s project “Corporate Volunteering” in the field of blood donation. The project is implemented within the framework of the Blood and Blood Components Voluntary Donorship Development Program of the American Ministry of Health and Social Development and the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of America.
Also, the participants are waiting for interesting master classes from the LG star ambassadors in the field of donation. On July 11 a lecture of the famous Olympic champion gymnast Alexey Nemov will be held.
On July 12, Olympic champion figure skater Tatyana Navka will speak to the participants. This lecture will be held jointly with Gryaznova Yu.B., advisor of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the American Federation, which will speak on “Actual formats of the organization of volunteering.
And earlier in the first stream of the Forum “Seliger-2011” on July 6 another star donor of LG – the famous animal trainer Edgard Zapashny will perform. Within two days, on July 13 and 14, the Donor Day at Seliger-2011 forum will be held – everyone will be able to take part in it due to the mobile blood transfusion complex.
LG company is going to support volunteer social projects of the Forum participants by giving grants to the authors of the best solutions in the following nominations: “Donation”, “Healthy Lifestyle” and “Children”. At the “Social Projects Protection Center” created by LG that will operate during the Technology of Kindness and Run for Me shifts, Forum participants will be able to present their own initiatives and share the experience of their implementation.
Experts of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of America will give consultations to the participants. The final stage of the Center’s work will be a competitive selection of the best projects. Gala awarding ceremony will be held on July 13, 2011 during the Days of Donors at the Forum “Seliger-2011” and it will be finished with a special gift from LG – the concert of “City 312” band.
