Rugged, reliable and compact: FUJIFILM launches FinePix XP130

FUJIFILM announced the FinePix XP130, the latest addition to its line of rugged, compact XP cameras. The XP130 is the first camera in the lineup to support Bluetooth technology, and has new shooting functions such as electronic level and eye detection.

The Fujifilm FinePix XP130 features a 16.4-megapixel backlit CMOS sensor BSI and a FUJINON wide-angle lens with a 5x otic zoom and a focal range of 28 to 140mm in 35mm equ. . Lens circuitry consists of 13 elements in 11 groups, including 4 aspherical. Double the optical zoom with Intelligent Digital Zoom. The camera also features an optical image stabilization system that removes any effects of camera shake, making it easier to shoot in low light.

The FinePix XP130 offers environmental protection that’s waterproof to a depth of 20 meters, can survive a drop from up to 1.75 meters, operates reliably in temperatures down to -10° C and is dustproof and sand proof, and features a dedicated battery compartment with double-locking mechanism for superior battery protection. The front grip makes it easy to hold the camera with one hand, making it easy to shoot in all situations

Built-in Bluetooth capability lets you quickly transfer images to your smartphone or tablet, and sync information between the camera and your smartphone about the date, time and location. In addition, by using the free “FUJIFILM Camera Remote” app, users can quickly and easily share photos and videos with family or friends. Images can even be transferred from the FinePix XP130 directly to the Instax SHARE printer. It is also possible to control the camera remotely using the app.

The Fujifilm FinePix XP130 will be available in different body colors and will go on sale in March 2018 for a recommended retail price of 13500 p.
