DALI company presented a new range of active acoustic systems Rubicon C: “Scandinavian” design, reference sound and pimped wireless hub – everything is up to date!
Modern Hi-Fi acoustics is not only about the reference quality of sound, but also the maximum comfort in all aspects of the process of its use. An excellent example of this is the range of DALI, which combines classic High End solutions with wireless technology and other modern features.
A few days ago at the Paris AudioVideo exhibition the manufacturer presented his latest creation: the active acoustic loudspeaker RUBICON C. Key features of these speakers are “audiophile” sound, no wires and stylish design. The model has a relatively compact body, powerful design and an attractive exterior in the best traditions of the series.
In the official press release it was said that Danish engineers had managed to completely neutralize the loss of quality, which in one way or another suffers from most wireless systems. And if so, the RUBICON C has the potential to become the new standard in its class! Active speakers are in great demand, and solving the main “wireless disadvantage” could increase their popularity by even more.
Everything in these speakers is thought and realized to please the advanced user. Drivers and structure borrowed from RUBICON’s elder family, a revised CALLISTO amplifier and an enhanced DALI Sound Hub – even on paper this combination looks very appealing. Add to that the ease of setup and control, and you have a great next-generation home system.
In purely visual terms the new model differs from the basic RUBICON model by the presence of a LED indicator on the front panel and the amplifier located on the rear side of the housing. The “C” version will be available in three colors: walnut, white and black. The ballpark price of the RUBICON 2C bookshelf speaker is roughly 4.If the price of a pair of RUBICON 6C floorstanding speakers is €6,000, the price of a pair of RUBICON 6C speakers will cost the lucky owner 6.000 EUR. Shipments of both systems are scheduled to begin in November 2019. Waiting for!
