LG Electronics, FC Rostov and Eldorado company for the first time in history held a joint Donor Day. It was the first joint event between LG and FC “Rostov”, the 30th with LG partner in business and social initiatives, “Eldorado” and the 93rd in the history of LG donor project.
Blood donor day was held near Western stand of Olymp-2 stadium on the basis of mobile blood procurement complex of FGBUSS “SPK FMBA of America in St. Petersburg”. In the town of Rostov-on-Don, LG, FC Rostov and Eldorado, as well as the club’s fans, took part in the blood drive, attended by over 50 employees who cared.
As part of the soccer initiatives of kindness 2017-2018, LG’s good ambassadors were Valery Gazzaev, Leonid Slutsky, Valery Karpin, Sergey Ovchinnikov, Georgy Dzhikiya, Denis Glushakov, Artem Rebrov, Ruslan Nigmatullin, Roman Shirokov, Evgeny Lovchev and Vyacheslav Malafeev, Anton Shunin, Guilherme Marinato, Andrey Yeshchenko and Ksenia Kovalenko.
LG company has been implementing the project of corporate volunteering for 10 years, having become in 2009. LG was the first partner of American Ministry of Health and Federal Medical-Biological Agency in the Blood Donorship Program.
