4-stage cleaning system – Quattro Cleaning Power
Miele’s newly developed four-stage Quattro Cleaning Power system gives you the best cleaning performance on all floor coverings.
The technology consists of several steps:
- The Turbo Brush picks up coarse dirt particles in the dust collection area underneath the unit,
- Extendable side brushes efficiently clean corners and baseboards,
- Powerful airflow removes fine dust.
Collision and fall protection
Scout RX2 navigates your way through the room using the advanced 3D Smart Navigation system.
Vacuum cleaner is equipped with two front cameras, which transmit three-dimensional images, allowing you to build a model of the space and objects in 3D.
This facilitates the recognition of obstacles, allows you to estimate the distance more accurately and helps to find the charging station.
The robot vacuum cleaner stores the coordinates of already cleaned areas, which allows you to determine the location and the remaining amount of work, or to start cleaning next time, where the device stopped.
Seven infrared sensors at the front of the vacuum cleaner and three infrared sensors at the bottom of the body analyze the path of the vacuum cleaner to prevent collisions with furniture, recognize steps and prevent it from falling.
The Scout RX2 moves smoothly even through rooms with complex layouts and cleans them thoroughly, freeing up its owners’ time for more enjoyable activities.
Real-time control
Scout RX2 supports Wi-Fi connection and synchronization with the mobile app of the same name, available for free on iOS and Android operating systems.
Through the app, you can remotely control the cleaning process: program the timer, start the robot vacuum cleaner and direct it to soiled areas.
The vacuum cleaner is also equipped with Home Mapping, through which Scout RX2 periodically determines its location and creates a time map of the room, which allows you to determine the optimal path for a comprehensive and effective cleaning.
The high-tech assistant has acquired another useful function: the front camera transmits real-time images to your mobile device. This allows you to not only track your vacuum, but also check on your home from anywhere in the world, or just follow your pets. All data is securely transmitted in encrypted form.
