Roskachestvo, together with colleagues from the International Assembly of Consumer Research and Testing ICRT International Consumer Research and Testing , conducted a study of cameras. Experts have evaluated the quality of pictures taken in automatic and manual modes, video and sound quality, functionality and usability of the camera.
The research included 98 models, including 55 mirrorless interchangeable lens models, 30 DSLRs professional, advanced and amateur , 10 compacts normal, advanced and with support for interchangeable lenses and 3 pseudo-lenses.
The test program included 326 indicators in six main categories: image quality in automatic mode, image quality in manual mode, video quality, monitor and viewfinder quality, functionality and usability. This international camera rating is recognized worldwide. Experts of similar organizations from 26 countries from all continents participate in laboratory tests simultaneously.

Cameras or “DSLRs
The surveyed DSLRs include Canon, Nikon and Pentax. Actually, even here there is no obvious leader. These brands ranked with different scores 2.3 to 3.7 . Fujifilm and Canon’s strengths proved to be in capturing the street in daylight, as well as image stabilization. The best in street photography were Sony Cyber-shot RX0, Fujifilm X100F and Canon PowerShot G1X Mark III, and in portraiture – Fujifilm X-A5 with FUJINON SUPER EBC XF 50mm 1:2 R WR, Canon PowerShot G5X and PowerShot G1X Mark III. Panasonic’s cameras score high in the dynamic range test at high ISO.
Pseudo-mirror “bridge” cameras
