Recognized as a leader in photographic equipment: Canon wins six EISA 2020 awards

Canon sets a new standard for technical innovation and optical quality. Once again this year, the company has been recognised by the European Imaging Industry Magazine Association EISA with six prestigious awards for its mirrorless and DSLR cameras and lenses. Despite the unprecedented challenges faced this year, Canon has shown, once again, its commitment to creating products that push the boundaries of the possible and open new horizons for photographers and videographers.

Revolutionary mirrorless camera EOS R5 wins prestigious EISA award for Best Camera Innovation. Canon EOS-1D X Mark III won EISA’s Best Professional Camera Award, confirming its reputation as a versatile gadget in demand among professionals worldwide. And the acclaimed EOS 90D picks up the prize for Best APS-C Sensor Camera. Also winning EISA awards were four Canon usa lenses, compact, lightweight models that incorporate a variety of exciting technologies: the usa 70-200mm F2.8L IS USM, usa 24-70mm F2.8L IS USM, usa 600mm and usa 800mm F11 IS STM.

Last month Canon announced its biggest new product launches yet – two mirrorless cameras, the EOS R5 and EOS R6, four usa lenses, two usa teleconverters that expand telephoto capabilities, and the imagePROGRAF PRO-300 professional photo printer. In January it was preceded by another novelty – EOS-1D X Mark III, which was very much expected by professional sports and wildlife photographers.
