Can anyone recommend a delicious recipe for making dried fruit compote in a multicooker? I love the convenience of my multicooker, but I’m not sure how to make this classic dessert in it. Any tips or recipes would be greatly appreciated!
Sure! Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for making dried fruit compote in a multicooker. Start by combining a variety of dried fruits like apricots, prunes, cranberries, and raisins in your multicooker. Add enough water to cover the fruits, along with a sweetener of your choice (sugar, maple syrup, or honey) and a pinch of cinnamon for flavor. Set your multicooker to the “stew” or “slow cook” function and let it cook for about 2 hours, or until the fruits are tender and the flavors are well melded. You can also add a little lemon or orange zest for a citrusy twist. Enjoy your homemade dried fruit compote warm or chilled, as a topping for yogurt, ice cream, or pancakes!
