I would like to constantly surprise and please my family, but it is a long winter outside – my heart and soul crave exotics. Here’s a suitable recipe for hearty meat mini-rolls, the so-called butchers, but in common parlance just kruteynikov. The recipe is simple, we can improvise, the main thing is our imagination. I will describe everything in detail in pictures.
We need
– 1-1.5 kg of pork loin
– dried apricots 300 g
– spices red and black pepper, salt, cilantro to your liking
– 2 heads of onions
– mushrooms 300 grams
– vegetable oil
– 150 grams mayonnaise and sour cream each
– 150-200 grams of adjika
– toothpicks.
How to cook
Cut the pork fillet in 1-1,5 cm thick circles the same way we usually prepare meat for chops.
We take a mallet and beat it, set it aside.
Prepare stuffing #1: mushrooms – defrost and chop if frozen, slices if fresh. Dice the onions and place them in a heated skillet together with the mushrooms, add the sour cream, and fry until soft.
Stuffing #2: wash dried apricots, pour boiling water on them for 15 minutes so that they soften, and if desired, you can cut them into three parts each. Prepare sauce to pour the kruteyniks: mix adjika with mayonnaise, spices and salt to taste.
Put a little of the stuffing on each piece of meat, wrap it like a pie and fasten it with a toothpick.
We preheat the oven, grease a baking pan with a thin layer of vegetable oil, put kruteyniki, spread the sauce, put it in the oven.
Approximate cooking time 30-40 minutes, depending on the oven gas or electric and the thickness of the meat.
Conclusion: smear sauce for juiciness and spiciness of the dish, you can sprinkle with herbs when serving.
We tried to experiment with chicken – it turned out very tasty and cooked faster, for the fans dried apricots can be replaced by prunes, as well as add chopped walnuts.
In total, the dish takes 1-1,5 times from cutting the meat to serving. It’s all in your hands.
