November 9, 2015. Irvine, CA – Razer™, a global leader in gadget and software development for gamers, today announced the Razer Naga Chroma.

The new Razer Naga Chroma mouse gets the most accurate 16,000 DPI 5G sensor without interpolation, as well as Chroma backlighting along with a canonical 12-button mechanical pad on the left

The latest addition to Razer’s lineup of mice will delight MMO gaming fans with the most advanced sensor. Razer 5G Laser Sensor is capable of delivering a fair 16,000 DPI in increments of up to 1 DPI. This is a serious innovation compared to today’s standards, which allow you to set the interval at 50 DPI. In addition, the new mouse boasts a complete lack of interpolation, which is optimal for multiscreen gaming stations with ultra-high resolution monitors and ideal for immersive MMOs.

At the heart of the Razer Naga Chroma is a proprietary concave mechanical panel with 12 buttons with tactile and audio response, optimized specifically for MMO gaming. Every button on this panel is ergonomically placed, so it’s easy for the player to find it by touch and give the right command.

“People thought we were crazy when we invented a mouse specifically for MMOs – and the Razer Naga exceeded even our own expectations – but now many of our competitors are trying to recreate the design of this game-changing device

, – Says Min-Liang Tan, co-founder and CEO of Razer. –

We believe that the technology we use will keep Razer Naga users one step ahead of the competition at all times.”

The Razer Naga Chroma is a flagship piece of gamer peripherals designed specifically for MMO gamers. The Razer Naga Chroma will join the Razer Naga series of gaming mice, which includes the wireless Razer Naga Epic Chroma with a 12-button mechanical panel on the left side of the case, and the Razer Naga Hex with six large mechanical buttons, designed for games like Diablo, League of Legends and Heroes of the Storm.

Razer Naga Chroma also join the range of devices with Chroma-lighting, including gaming mice DeathAdder Chroma and Razer Mamba, gaming keyboard Razer BlackWidow Chroma, headphones Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma, as well as the Razer Firefly gaming pad. All gadgets prefixed with Chroma have 16.8 million customizable hues and a range of effects like color range cycling, breathing, reactivity, and other tricks available through Razer Synapse software. Synapse allows you to sync the backlight tones and patterns across multiple Chroma devices with a single click.

In addition, the Razer Naga Chroma will be part of the Chroma SDK. With Razer’s API hardware, game developers will be able to effectively highlight in-game events with lighting effects on their Chroma-enabled devices to increase the depth of their gaming experience.
