The new BlackWidow X keyboard is a basic, minimalist version of the award-winning Razer BlackWidow with a high-strength metal finish and budget Cherry mechanical switches
The new line of keyboards is a simplified, minimalist version of the original BlackWidow, which lacks the top protective cover, but has an open metal plate that meets military standards, you can find it in all Razer BlackWidow keyboards. The original BlackWidow with a metal inner frame and an additional top protective cover will be sold as a premium model to the BlackWidow X.
The minimalist design of Razer’s BlackWidow X lineup has allowed the company to set a new low price point for premium mechanical keyboards without having to sacrifice any of the virtues inherent in the Razer Blackwidow.
The Razer BlackWidow X line includes models that support Razer Chroma technology, which lets you customize the backlighting for each key with a choice of 16.8 million. colors and a variety of lighting effects options. Settings profiles can be created with Razer Synapse software and published for download by millions of other users through the Razer Chroma Workshop service. Chroma effects support has been integrated into a number of well-known titles includingCallofDuty,Overwatch,BladeandSoul and more.
The Razer BlackWidow X line will also feature models without Chroma support. The $99 Razer BlackWidow X Ultimate mechanical keyboard with dynamic backlighting will offer gamers exceptional quality at an affordable price.
