Method of preparation:
Quince jam is delicious and somewhat reminiscent of peach jam. Use only big ripe fruits. First boil them in water until the quinces are soft. Put them in cold water. Slice into quarters, peel and remove the seeds. Dissolve the sugar in the water and add the quinces. Cook over low heat. After boiling the fruit, take them out and put them in a separate bowl, while continuing to boil the syrup. When it has thickened even more, pour it over the fruit. Ready jam should cool down well, only then can it be rolled up in jars.
