AeroCool designers know how much gamers appreciate the quietness when they have to put up with the constant roar of fans. New DS230 is a game changer: It’s made of strong 0.7mm steel and reinforced with soundproofing material inserts on the front, top, and side panels. Even with power-cooling top-of-the-line components, the chassis maintains acceptable noise levels and lets you comfortably conquer the worlds of gaming.

LED lighting accentuates the futuristic design of the case, adding to its minimalist form. You can choose from seven colors to display in normal or breathable mode. Additionally, the colors of the illumination can change depending on the cooling intensity because the PWM control of the fans is directly linked to the backlighting. So for example green LED’s indicate a low speed cooler, red – the maximum speed. A total of five gradations are available.

AeroCool DS230 case supports ATX, Micro ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards. Inside there is enough space for two 3.5″ and three 2.5″ hard drives, two graphics cards up to 413 mm long, and a CPU up to 170 mm high. The new product comes pre-installed with a 120mm fan on the back, but you can add up to three coolers on the front and two on top if you want. Case also supports installation of water cooling system.

Two USB 2 ports are located on the top hatch for quick and easy access.0, two USB 3.0, headphone output, microphone input and backlight controller.

The AeroCool DS230 sounds impressive with its silent operation and backlit design. But I’m curious, does it sacrifice cooling performance for the sake of being quiet?
