For the dough:
400 grams of flour,
20 g yeast,
0,25 l of water at room temperature,
4 tablespoons vegetable oil,
1 teaspoon salt.
For the filling:
1.5 hard pumpkin pulp,
4 onions,
175g of smoked fat,

Grated nutmeg,
225g grated cheese,
salt, pepper.
Preparation: dissolve yeast in a little water, mix with sifted flour, remaining water and vegetable oil, salt. Knead the dough and let it rise for about 30 minutes.
Cut the pumpkin into 0.5 cm thick slices, put it in a small amount of water, bring to the boil and let it boil for 3 minutes. Then strain in a colander.
Peel onion and cut into strips and fry in a pan. Fry onion in melted fat until light yellow.
Season with sour cream and grated nutmeg. Roll out the dough on a greased baking tray. Grease the dough with sour cream.
Lay slices of pumpkin, rings of onion, strips of lard and grated cheese on it.
Then sprinkle the pizzas with freshly ground pepper, place in the oven and bake at 180°C for about 40 minutes until golden.
What does pumpkin pizza taste like? Is it a sweet or savory dish? What are the main toppings typically used? I’m curious to try something new and adventurous!
