Premium Atech Blackjet line of multimedia card readers

Atech Flash Technology, a manufacturer of digital storage solutions aimed at professionals, has launched a new premium product line under the brand name “Blackjet”. The product line currently includes the following models: Blackjet UX-1 Cinema Dock, Blackjet VX-1C, Blackjet VX-1CXQ, Blackjet VX-1S, and Blackjet VX-2SSD

Blackjet UX-1 Cinema Dock

It is the most advanced card reader in the Blackjet line. It supports the installation of two SSD drives, and has five slots for multimedia cards such as XQD 2.0, CFast 2.0, CompactFlash, SD and microSD. Connects to laptops or desktops with Thunderbolt 3, which provides up to 4000MB/s throughput. Read speeds allow users to simultaneously download files from all seven multimedia slots, and extra-heavy content can be processed directly on the cards.

For the installation of SSD drives are used 2.5″ slots as well as the ability to combine drives in RAID-enabled arrays such as RAID-0, RAID-1 or JBOD. The Blackjet UX-1 is compatible with Mac and Windows systems and if 7 media slots aren’t enough – the optional Thunderbolt 3 port on the back lets you combine and connect up to four UX-1 card readers to one computer. In addition, the Blackjet UX-1 can be mounted in a standard 1U rack.

Blackjet VX-1C

The card reader is designed to work with cards CFast 2.0. Connects to desktop and notebook computers via USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C, providing up to 1,000MB/s throughput and transferring data from cards at top speeds. Blackjet VX-1C is compatible with modern Mac and Windows computers. The device features a rugged metal enclosure for greater durability and a series of vents for improved heat dissipation. The VX-1C is equipped with a Kensington lock for theft protection.

Blackjet VX-1CXQ and Blackjet VX-1S

VX-1CXQ is designed to work with Sony XQD and CFexpress cards, while VX-1S supports Sony SxS PRO and Sony SxS-1 cards. Both readers connect to desktop or laptop computers using the Thunderbolt 3 connector, providing up to 4,000MB/s throughput. The devices also feature a metal housing with holes for better heat dissipation and are compatible with Mac and Windows computers. Both readers have a Kensington lock to protect against theft.

Blackjet VX-2SSD

Card reader supports installation of two size 2 SSDs.5″ with RAID-0, RAID-1 or JBOD capability. Connects to laptops or desktops using USB 3 connector.1 Gen 2 Type-C, which provides up to 1000MB/s throughput. The back of the metal case has holes for better heat dissipation, as well as Kensington lock and RAID switches. Blackjet VX-2SSD is compatible with Mac and Windows computers.
