Acer has unveiled the Swift 3 SF313-52 , a new model in the Swift range of thin, portable notebooks for the American market. First shown at CES 2020, the device has a 13.5-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2256×1504 pixels. The new notebook boasts a perfect 3:2 aspect ratio, with support for the latest 10th generation Intel® Core™ processors, NVIDIA® GeForce MX350 and long battery life, plus all the ports the modern user needs. Co-developed with Intel® as part of Project Athena, it meets the company’s most stringent performance requirements.

Mobility as a lifestyle
The Swift 3 is designed for the mobile, portable user who wants to take their notebook on the road, take it with them wherever they go, but who doesn’t sacrifice performance for comfort. The notebook’s silver aluminum and magnesium-aluminum enclosure weighs just 1.19kg and is just 15.95mm thick, so it’s easy to carry and fits even in a small bag or backpack.
The Swift 3 has a 13.5-inch screen to chassis ratio of 83.65% with a 3:2 display format, giving you additional space for typing and web browsing. The sides of the screen are just 4.37 mm thick, letting you fully focus on the image, which is made possible by the IPS image sensor. Supports Acer Color Intelligence™ and Acer ExaColor™ technology and 100% sRGB color gamut for superior color reproduction, and 2256×1504 pixels. The LCD panel is equipped with a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 802.8GHz adapter, which allows the user to see even the smallest details of the picture.

The new Swift 3 has been developed together with Intel® and is part of the unique Project Athena. That means it meets Intel® requirements for responsiveness, wake-up time, performance, battery life, and quick charge functionality. With a device that meets all of these needs, you can get back to your work quickly when you’re traveling or traveling on business, without the hassle of trying to recharge it or waiting for it to power up or shut down.

Security and connectivity
To keep user privacy safe, the Swift 3 supports Windows Hello, which allows users to log on almost instantly with the built-in fingerprint scanner. Acer engineers paid just as much attention to data transfer and connectivity, and the notebook is equipped with USB 3.0 and USB 3.0 connectivity for easy access to external devices.1 Type-C Gen2 with DisplayPort support, as well as Thunderbolt™ 3, and wireless connectivity via dual band Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax with MU-MIMO technology. This allows for up to three times the bandwidth of Wi-Fi 5 and download speeds of up to 1,700 Mbps.
