One of the best ways to prepare pork with dried apricots and raisins is to roast or braise the meat. Start by seasoning the pork with a combination of salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Then, sear the pork in a hot pan until browned on all sides. Next, add in the dried apricots and raisins, along with a few sprigs of fresh thyme or rosemary. Optional additions could include a dash of cinnamon or ground ginger for added warmth. Finally, deglaze the pan with some chicken or vegetable broth, cover, and let it cook in the oven at 375°F (190°C) until the pork is tender and the flavors have melded together. This combination of seasonings and spices will complement the sweet and tangy flavors of the dried fruit, enhancing the overall taste of the pork dish.
