Thanks to the optimal screen size the new PocketBook 840 is an excellent choice for readers of special literature, periodicals, and those who are often dealing with charts and tables in PDF and Djvu.

PocketBook 840 may be a great help for school and college students, because 8 inches is the size closest to the format of most textbooks. Besides, the reader allows to make notes in the margins and write comments on separate text passages directly during reading, what is especially comfortable while reading, for example, in a foreign language.

PocketBook 840 screen was developed on the basis of E Ink Pearl technology and has the highest resolution among similar devices – 1600×1200 pixels. The large screen resolution allows you to adjust the size of fonts from minimum to maximum without losing clarity. Built-in diode backlight allows you to enjoy reading regardless of lighting conditions.

The PocketBook 840 is indeed suitable for individuals who prefer larger screens or have vision impairment. It features a 7.8-inch screen, providing a more spacious reading experience. In terms of accessibility options, it offers adjustable font sizes, customizable font types, line spacing, and text alignment. Additionally, it supports text-to-speech functionality, making it more convenient for visually impaired users. Compared to other e-readers, the PocketBook 840 offers similar accessibility features, but its larger screen sets it apart. However, it’s important to note that the device is relatively heavier, which may be a drawback for those who prioritize portability and lighter devices.
