Pioneer

Pioneer XDJ-R1 DJ system

Perfect solution for DJs who need flexibility. Containing everything you need, the XDJ-R1 lets you switch between different sources instantly: two CDs, USB and MIDI. DJs can prepare tracks using the included rekordbox™ software and download files via USB to access a variety of cool features, including Beat Sync and Quantized Beat FX. They can also select MIDI to control any DJ software such as the included VirtualDJ LE.

The XDJ-R1’s touch-sensitive controls give you unlimited live performance options, packed with two touch-sensitive jogs for clear scratching, a two-channel mixing console, and assigned buttons for looping, hot-tagging, sampling, and colorful studio-quality effects.

A new concept in versatility: the XDJ-R1 can be controlled wirelessly via iPad, iPhone or iPod touch using the Pioneer-developed remotebox app available on the App Store since June 2013 . DJs can connect to the XDJ-R1’s own wireless network and use their touchpad to select music and mix tracks – all without being “tied down” to a table of equipment. The app will also feature an XY pad: a two-dimensional way to control Beat FX and Colour FX effects with the touch of a finger.

Pioneer DJ packs all the extensive features into one portable, rekordbox-compatible, affordable device. All DJs have to do is express their creativity.

Cost and availability

The Pioneer XDJ-R1 DJ system will go on sale in August 2013 for a recommended retail price of 39,990 Dollars.
