12 November 2013. – Pioneer introduces four new analog car amplifier models designed with a focus on high power and installation flexibility. The novelties connect seamlessly to OEM or “non-factory” audio systems thanks to input signal detection, which turns on the amplifier when audio appears on the input jacks. Compact chassis allows for easy mounting in tight spaces without compromising on sound quality. Despite their compact size, the units are powerful and upscale, and the inherent realism and wide dynamic range of the sound distinguish these amplifiers from the competition.
“An optional power amplifier not only increases the volume of any car audio system, but also improves its sound quality. The new GM-A line of Pioneer analogue amplifiers are easy to install, deliver powerful high quality sound and make a good impression,” says Tom Van Biervliet, Pioneer Europe’s Automotive Electronics Planning Manager. – Like our subwoofers, these components recreate the sound of a full-size audio system, while taking up very little space.”.
The GM-A range features input sensing for easy installation, a variety of high and low pass filters for accurate tuning to full-range speakers or subwoofers, gold-plated screw terminals, and a bridged channel and built-in bass extension on the GM-A6604 and GM-A5602. Faithful audio reproduction meets memorable, solid design in an ultra-compact package.
The GM-A family of amplifiers from Pioneer will satisfy every consumer’s needs, as the lineup features four models, among which are both two- and four-channel. They can be used with a single subwoofer or with multiple loudspeakers and subwoofers. The latest addition to the lineup is the GM-A4604, a smaller, more powerful amplifier, the counterpart to the GM-A6604, which also provides many connectivity options and doesn’t lose out to the GM-A6604 in features.
