Philips Power Range irons: Irons itself, steams itself and shuts off

To look impeccable and to get admiring looks, it’s very important that the outfit is ironed and looks neat. Philips new PowerRange range of high performance irons achieves this in minutes, effortlessly. New series of irons feature high power, heavy-duty Anodilium soleplate, resistant to scratches and automatic movement sensor.

Philips PowerRange irons

Philips PowerRange irons deliver 2400 watts [1] of power and a powerful steam impact, giving you the fastest ironing results you could ever imagine.

The most powerful iron, GC3593, smoothes even the tightest creases in tough fabrics thanks to its constant steam output of 40 g/min and 150 g/min steam impact. And with the vertical steam release it’s easy to iron delicates like silk and jacquard by weight, without making direct contact.

GC3550 and GC3593 have the unique Anodilium soleplate, which is scratch resistant and easy to clean.

All three models are equipped with an auto-off feature, eliminating the eternal question that catches us off guard: “Did I turn the iron off??”. The appliance switches off automatically if it’s lying still on its soleplate, or on its side, for 30 seconds, or if it’s been in an upright position for 8 minutes.

All Philips PowerRange models have a bubble-stop to prevent stains and steam your clothes gently.

The SteamTip allows you to smooth out creases in the hardest to reach places, so you get perfect collars and cuffs on the trickiest fabrics like linen and denim, and even intricately designed dresses with no creases.

The Philips PowerRange range of irons will be available in March 2012. Recommended retail price is: model GC2965 – 2790 Dollars., Model GC3550 – 3290 RUB., Model GC3593 – 3490 RUB.

These Philips Power Range irons sound impressive with their self-ironing and steaming capabilities, as well as auto-shutoff feature. However, I would like to know more about their performance and reliability. Do they provide consistent steam and heat distribution to ensure effective ironing? How long does it take for them to warm up and how long does the steam last? Are they durable and built to last? Additionally, are there any specific precautions or maintenance tips that users should be aware of?

How effective are they in getting rid of stubborn wrinkles? And how does the automatic shut-off function work? Can it be customized to our preferred duration?

These Philips Power Range irons sound incredible! I’m curious to know how the ironing process is automated. Do you simply place the clothes on the ironing board and the iron takes care of the rest? Also, how does the iron determine when to shut off? Is it based on a timer or some sort of intelligent sensor? Overall, I’m really intrigued by the concept and would love to learn more about the technology behind these innovative irons.
