Philips climate system: control it from your smartphone

The Philips Air Conditioning System can do two things at once – it cleans and humidifies the air in 2-in-1 mode. When there is no need to humidify, it is possible to put the complex in purification mode.

Philips AC3829 filters

Thanks to its high air flow rate CADR of 310 m3/h, the Philips AC3829 treats a room of up to 20 m2 in less than 10 minutes, which means that in one hour the air is completely filtered more than 6.5 times.

  • The complex copes with humidification thanks to NanoCloud technology, which works on the principle of natural cold evaporation. The water molecules that enter the purified air are so small that they cannot carry any other particles or contaminants, so the risk of bacteria spreading is reduced by up to 99%. The air in the room is moistened evenly. It also avoids plaque or moisture on furniture and other surfaces. If no additional humidifying is required, you can switch to purify mode.

To avoid the need to constantly monitor the settings, the new complexes have 4 levels of humidity – you can choose 40%, 50%, 60% or 70%, and the device will automatically maintain the specified level of humidity in the room.

Clean Home app+

The first time you connect a Philips climate system, it synchronizes with your WI-FI home network and smartphone through the Clean Home app+.

With it, you can adjust the main parameters of the device, get information about indoor and outdoor air and much more:

  • In the main menu, you can change the operating modes, select the desired humidity level, fan speed
  • The app helps you adjust the intensity of the backlight, you can set a timer, enable the complex’s touch button lock if the device is in the nursery, and with a few taps the device will go into night mode.
  • With Clean Home+ you don’t have to worry about forgetting to change the filter. The app will notify you when it needs to be changed and tells you how to do it
  • Clean Home+ shows you the temperature and state of the air outside by geolocating your smartphone. For a better adjustment of the unit at home, you can compare the outdoor air quality with the home air quality. So, for example, during the period of active blossoming, the app will advise you to activate the complex in the mode of allergen detention more often. And at low temperatures outside the window and at the beginning of the heating season, when the house becomes especially dry – choose the mode 2 in 1 with automatic maintenance of the necessary level of humidity.

Clean Home+ not only monitors the complex, but is also a mobile expert in all air-related matters. In the menu there are useful small articles to answer the most popular questions. For example, you can learn how to deal with low and high humidity, what to do if you fall ill, how often and how to ventilate the room properly, how the polluted air affects your physical activity or sleep, and whether it can cause snoring. All this and much more is now at your fingertips to help make any space safer and more comfortable.

Display

All air quality information is available not only in the Clean Home+ app, but also on the handy digital display.

AeraSense sensor quickly and accurately determines air composition and displays it in real time. The user can, for example, monitor the level of allergens during the blooming period – the display shows their level on a scale from 1 to 12. Hygrometer is built in for measuring the humidification level. You can also monitor the color indicator on the circumference of the display – if you open a window to ventilate naturally or spray perfume nearby, the indicator turns from blue to pink, which means a decrease in air quality.

Modes

Philips climate complexes work in 3 automatic modes: standard, night and allergen detainment mode.

In night mode, the display’s backlight is turned off and the fan speed is reduced to a minimum so as not to disturb sleep. If the unit is installed in a child’s room, the function of locking buttons will be particularly useful so that children do not accidentally confuse the settings.

The unit can be easily moved with the wheels when needed.
