Panasonic engineers added fundamentally new software and special cosmetic printer to the existing prototype of mirror.

First, the system scans the subject’s face and analyzes how certain areas of the skin reflect and absorb light. This technology helps to detect any skin imperfections even imperceptible to the naked eye: wrinkles, pores, redness, dryness, pigment spots, freckles and etc. Problem areas are highlighted in the reflection of the face in different colors. In the process, the system “decides” which cosmetic and hardware products will help solve each problem. And the main thing is that if there are no contraindications, the test person can immediately print special cosmetic “patches”, which ideally match the tone of his skin and help to hide obvious defects!

After you press the “Print” button on the surface of the mirror, the thinnest substrate of hypoallergenic material comes out of a special printer, on which the concealer and foundation are applied. Patch area is slightly larger than the problem area. Firmly pressing a sheet soaked in cosmetics to the face, a person receives a ready-made makeup, just like a temporary tattoo. Slightly dry the layer and your new face is ready! Importantly, the cosmetic composition not only hides skin imperfections, but also moisturizes the skin. It’s easy to rinse off with water if you want.

Panasonic is sure that the new solution will be especially demanded in medical cosmetology, for example, for make-up scars and birthmarks, as well as boring tattoos.
