Panasonic planned to enter American market with two models of washing machines – model NA-16VX1 and NA-14VA1. The main criteria of the new product eco-friendliness are low power consumption, low noise and vibration level, and minimum water consumption.
Panasonic has achieved a significant reduction in water consumption by developing an inclined drum design. Tilted drum not only lowers water level in drum by 10% but also improves drum performance and makes loading and unloading laundry easy. When the drum is fully loaded, only 44 liters of water is used for the entire cycle.
The new washing technology Beat Wash based on 3D sensor controls the laundry motion path and drum rotation speed depending on the load weight and capacity. The system eliminates unbalanced loads and creates a perfect three-dimensional washing effect by achieving an optimal angle of incidence and stirring the laundry simultaneously in the drum. The result is less stress, delicate handling and items won’t wrinkle or crease. Adapting the washing process to the specifics of laundry, the system 3D Sensor Wash significantly reduces the time of washing.
During the washing water is added to the drum in thin hard jets with a wide angle in addition to the main stream of water which pierce the entire load. It increases the impact on dirt, as detergent solution passes through the fabric and increases the washing effect. This water flow also enhances the rinse performance. It also offers an extra rinse cycle to remove all detergent residues.
One of the key technological achievement by Panasonic is inverter control. Thanks to the high-performance brushless induction motor with inverter control, the maximum possible spin speed is 1600 rpm./min for the model NA-16VX1 , which allows you to squeeze out almost all the water and reduce the drying time. Brushless motor and robust design suppress vibration and isolate sound resulting in super quiet operation with noise levels as low as 53dB for washing and 76dB for spinning. Thanks to the inverter, Panasonic washing machines have surpassed the EU standard of energy efficiency class A by 20%!
Panasonic develops its own models of home appliances aiming for maximum comfort and ease of use. The control panel is easy to read, simple and intuitive.
