Panasonic fridge: green ideas for life

Article content: Econavi

Our parents never imagined that we would buy clean water in a store. Are you ready for our kids to buy clean air? And if we don’t do anything, we will have to pay for it. After all the atmosphere in many places is polluted up to the maximum permissible sizes, the ozone layer protecting from the destructive for all living space radiation is partially broken. The one way forward: we must change the way we think about nature. How the? Well, for example, at least giving preference to those household appliances, which are as ecological as possible in all their characteristics.

Refrigerators

Let’s have a look at the example of Panasonic refrigerators to see what an environmentally friendly refrigerator is. First, let’s explain why we chose this company’s appliances.

The truth is that Panasonic is striving to become the No. 1 Green Innovation Company in the electronics industry by 2018, its centenary, and to achieve this goal, it is developing eco-ideas for life and business.

Panasonic is very environmentally conscious and supports environmental projects, including educational projects. Efficient use of natural resources, energy conservation and reduction of carbon dioxide emissions are Panasonic’s ground rules and it aims to make them universal, imbuing the younger generation with its eco-ideas.

ECONAVI – the smart way to save energy

There is very interesting model NR-F55TX-N8 with EcoNavi technology in the line of Panasonic refrigerators. Four special sensors for light, door opening, interior and exterior temperature analyze the total energy consumption and help the appliances “adapt” to the users’ lifestyle by effectively cooling the food and at the same time saving energy.

Thus, the light sensor detects the light level for switching automatically to the energy-saving mode. The door opening sensor detects and remembers how often the refrigerator door is opened and predicts the refrigerator’s usage throughout the day in order to automatically switch to energy-saving mode.

THE INVERTER COUNTS YOUR MONEY

Two models of Panasonic fridges use the inverter technology, which allows changing the power consumption of the compressor depending on the load. This saves up to 40% of energy and cuts noise level by about half.

A CLEAR BOUNDARY OF COLD

A new U-Vacua insulation material, exclusive to Panasonic, maximizes protection of the low temperatures inside the refrigerator from outside heat. U-Vacua remains flexible and can be used to shape various geometric surfaces in addition to refrigerators, it is even used for thermal insulation of dwellings . As the U-Vacua material is very thin, its application enables to increase the useful volume of refrigerators at the invariable external dimensions.

TRUST THE COMPANY – BUT MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT

A few rules of thumb to reduce the energy consumption of any refrigerator. It’s really quite simple, the specialists say:

Don’t keep the refrigerator door open for too long!

  • By placing the products inside rationally, you can quickly find what you need and close the door much faster to keep the cold out.
  • Clean behind the refrigerator more often!
  • Ensuring that dust does not accumulate on the back of the fridge-freezer, you will improve the heat transfer and keep your food optimally cool.
  • Let your fridge breathe!
  • Reduce electricity losses by leaving a free space between the fridge and the wall for better heat dissipation.
  • Make a list of products.

Built-in fridges

It seems a little funny and boring, but if you have a list of food stored in the fridge door, you won’t have to open the door to find the sausages you finished yesterday or the milk you forgot to buy.

(When pondering over this advice we have come to the conclusion that the refrigerator manufacturers, introducing this method of saving, should complete the appliances with a set of special magnets: an open refrigerator with shelves and lots of small magnets-dishes, then the children will be glad to make such a “list” and we will not only know what is inside but also where this or that food is. – Comment. ed.

Avoid overloading your fridge. If it’s loaded no more than 80%, the airflow will circulate better inside, contributing to optimal cooling efficiency.
