Renewed 16.05-megapixel Live MOS sensor boasts a wide dynamic range and extremely high sensitivity ISO 25600 in extended mode .
Particular attention has been paid to image quality in the design of the new camera, with the enhanced algorithms of the Venus Engine image processor ensuring superior sharpness. The 3DNR 3D Noise Reduction and MNR Multi-process Noise Reduction technologies helped to minimize the noise level both in light and in shades.
Highest shooting speed
All LUMIX G family cameras feature a contrast AF system that surpasses not only the phase AF system of digital SLR cameras in terms of speed but also in terms of accuracy.
The difference is especially noticeable when using a fast lens. The superior autofocus system, fast start-up time and minimal delay after the shutter release button is pressed will not let you miss a unique shot.
An upgraded sensor and image processor have increased the continuous shooting speed up to 6fps with mechanical shutter full resolution and up to 20fps with electronic shutter 4MP resolution .
Superb video quality
Panasonic set out to surpass the limitations of amateur digital cameras by raising the quality bar even higher for video. Now you can freely choose any of the formats – AVCHD, AVCHD Progressive, MP4 or MOV – and a suitable frame rate: 50p, 25p or 24p.
Moreover, the camera DMC-GH3 with miniHDMI cable allows you to display the image in real time on an external monitor, which is very useful for professional video shooting, which requires a review of the material.
