Contest for professional stylists and hairdressers “Style creates a legend”

How would Audrey Hepburn, Elvis Presley, Grace Kelly or Twiggy look in the age of high technology?? The best answer to this question was given by stylist Khristina Islamova from Izhevsk. According to the results of the draw, she was given one of the most difficult tasks – to recreate the image of the legendary David Bowie, conveying the singer’s vibrant and creative character. And the master coped with the task wonderfully. Thanks to her haircut and clothes, picked up by the online store of clothes, shoes and accessories Lamoda, “David Bowie” looked as if he just went on stage of his concert in the early years of creativity.

Mashines for haircuts

The contestants used the latest achievements of the beauty industry – professional Japanese Panasonic ER-GP80 hair clippers to create the images of the 21st century. Their unique advantage is an ergonomic design, the developers of which relied on the results of a large-scale research implemented by Panasonic in Japan. The test group of hairdressers used special sensory gloves, fixing the areas of the palm, which had the most pressure at different stages of haircutting. The resulting data helped create the perfect body shape for both right- and left-handed men and women’s haircuts. The ER-GP80 is lighter in comparison with similar models and can be easily used even by fragile stylists.

For self-care

The winner of the project, Khristina Islamova, was awarded the grand prize, a certificate for a three-day master class by Victoria Zharinova, top stylist of Persona school. Besides, she and the other finalists received the Panasonic ER-GP80 hair clippers as a gift. And the incentive prize – an annual subscription to a professional magazine Hair`s how – was won by Olga Volodina from New York.
