The model ONYX BOOX Monte Cristo has a 6-inch capacitive touch screen E Ink Carta Plus display with 14:1 contrast ratio, resolution of 1072 by 1448 dots and 300 dpi pixel density, which corresponds to the quality of paper printing. The screen has a function of continuously adjustable backlight MOON Light, allowing you to comfortably read in different lighting conditions.

The screen is covered by the glass from the famous Japanese manufacturer Asahi, which protects it from glare and scratches. There is no air gap between the screen and the protective glass, which ensures maximum image quality.

Besides the touch screen, you can easily operate the device with the flip buttons located on the sides of the screen. At the same time, users have the ability to reprogram the functions of the buttons.

ONYX BOOX Monte Cristo supports all popular text and image file formats and allows you to read documents in a large number of languages. The device comes preloaded with English-American and American-English dictionaries with the possibility of adding StarDict dictionaries.

ONYX BOOX Monte Cristo runs on Android 4.2, is equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi module and has a pre-installed Google Play app, so users can install additional programs themselves directly from the app store.

E-book reader is made in a compact black casing of aluminum-magnesium alloy, with minimal weight that provides its high rigidity. In addition, the device is equipped with a Hall sensor and comes with a “smart” cover, which when closed, puts it in “sleep” mode.
