ONYX BOOX Amundsen features a 6-inch E Ink Carta display with flip buttons on the sides of the screen and a convenient five-position joystick underneath the screen. The distinctive feature is the absence of a capacitive touch layer and a layer of backlight over the screen, which provides a clearer image.
Device runs on Android 4.2 and dual-core processor clocked at 1 GHz, it has 512 MB of RAM, 8 GB of flash memory with the ability to use memory cards up to 32 GB and a battery capacity of 1700 mAh.
The book reader supports all popular file formats, allows to read documents in a large number of European and Asian languages, also has preinstalled English-American and American-English dictionaries, with the possibility of adding StarDict dictionary databases.
