Only a few months after our flagship portable hi-fi player
Cowon PLENUE 1
The player’s popularity and overwhelmingly positive user feedback has led the Korean manufacturer to introduce it in two more colors: silver and gold.
On the eve of the New Year holidays, Cowon announced the release of a player
PLENUE 1
In two new colors: silver and gold
In technical terms it’s all the same Cowon PLENUE 1: the most powerful Cortex Dual Core processor, traditional for COWON players JetEffect 7 equalizer
with wide possibilities of sound adjustment, 128 GB of internal memory with the possibility to connect a micro SD card up to 128 GB, which allows you to carry
Huge collection of high definition music. And a quartz oscillator to minimize audio distortion, bright
3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a rich, clear picture that makes it easy to see information even in bright light.
Anodized surface protects the all-metal housing from scratches, and the OTTAWAPELL pouch made of high-quality leather from the physical effects.
Also worth noting the mechanical buttons, which can easily operate the gadget blind.
Thanks to Burr-Brown PCM1792A digital-to-analog converter, the player supports audio in FLAC, WAV, DXD, DSD and more
studio-quality formats, which of course cannot fail to please true connoisseurs of quality music.
To put it succinctly and meaningfully: the Cowon PLENUE 1 – style, performance and functionality.
Cowon PLENUE 1 hi-fi player in new colors will go on sale in the first half of December 2014.

That’s really exciting news! I’m curious to know if the new colors offer any additional features or improvements compared to the original PLENUE 1 player? Also, does Cowon plan to release these color variants in limited editions or will they be a permanent addition to the PLENUE 1 lineup?
“The new silver and gold colors of the Cowon PLENUE 1 player sound intriguing! I’m curious to know if these colors have any significance or are simply aesthetics. Can anyone provide more information about the inspiration behind these color options?”
